Breezepelt's Life :Prologue:

My Clanmates never gave me love, nor did my mother and father, Crowfeather and Nightcloud. When I was recruited in the Dark Forest, I knew I'd fit in well. They actually praised me with warm appreciation in their eyes, unlike my fox-hearted father, Crowfeather, did. I always felt like I'd fit in the Dark Forest more than I ever did in WindClan. No one there ever loved me. Not even my own parents. Nightcloud always told me that Crowfeather hated me, and I believed her, for because of the way how he had acted towards me. He'd always snap at me, never praised me when I did the right thing, and even would argue with Nightcloud at times. During their arguments, I'd hear the names Leafpool, Squirrelflight, Hollyleaf, Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Brambleclaw most of the time. Those weak-hearted cats! I always hated Jayfeather, Lionblaze, and Hollyleaf the most, because they were the reason why my father hated me, and why Nightcloud was always angry at him. Crowfeather used Nightcloud so other WindClan cats could trust him! He never loved her, or even me, his own son!
You see, I joined the Dark Forest because I've always felt like I had family there, even if they were violent with me. I also joined them with the final battle because I wanted to hurt Crowfeather's kits in revenge, for what they've done to my family, and to hurt him myself, for revenge, for what he's done to me.
I still remember those days when I was a kit. There was actual love in Crowfeather's eyes..and Nightcloud's..
