Kurai and Kitsune were asleep after they ate their berries. Absol, looking back, to make sure they were asleep, got up quietly and left his cave. It was dark outside; the trees looked haunting; there was nothing but darkness. Kurai and Kitsune didn't notice him leave. Heavy sleepers, Absol thought. After several minutes of silence, he went forward to a dark bush next to the cave. "Are you here? I need to talk to you," Absol said. "Come out!" A dark orange figure came out of a bush: his ears were curly and pointy; it had a lightning-strike tail; yellow cheeks; brown paws. Raichu. "What do you want?" Raichu said with an unwelcoming tone. "I brought them where you wanted," Absol replied. Raichu looked at the cave. "There?" Absol nodded in reply. "Yes. Winning their trust was easy. I'm sorry I had to hurt you, though," Raichu nodded, letting Absol know he forgave him. "Some risks are necessary," He padded across the clearing. "Let's attack at a right time when Weavile, and Night are all together with us, while they are alone with no help. Meet me near a mountain and tell them that's where Weavile will be," Absol nodded in reply. "Will do. I just hope this is worth it."

--------Chapter 9-----------
I felt the sun's rays hit my dark fur in the morning, then yawned. "Morning already?" Kurai was already awake. "Yup," he said, "I've been up for a while. You looked exhausted, so I let you sleep in, Brother." My eyes widened with surprise. Brother? It was the first time anyone has ever called me that, and I felt a wave of warmness and appreciation. I finally sat up and stretched my short legs. "Let's go for a walk," I suggested, but Kurai's eyes were filled with worry. "I haven't seen Absol since last night..he must have woken up before we did," He turned to me. "Where could he be? Did he get injured?" My ears flattened with worry. "I don't know, maybe it's best to leave ourselves..remember; Absol told us that Mother is in trouble," Kurai yelped. "Then let's leave now! Walking can wait!"  As soon as Kurai was about to take a pawstep out of the cave, Absol blocked his way. "I overheard your conversation," he said. My belly felt as if it was going to flip over. "Don't worry. I know where your Mother is. I overheard Weavile once saying that since you and Kurai know where her small back-up place is at, she has moved into the mountains, where it's quiet, and nobody is there to bother her." I felt a wave of doubt. Absol growled. "Remember that I saved your life," I didn't really have a choice... "I guess we can go to the mountains to help Mother," I looked at Kurai to see if he would agree, but his expression gave me a sign that he was angry at me. "We need to talk," He glared at Absol. "Alone." Absol nodded and backed off. Kurai walked a few paces away and dragged me by the tail, once again. It's been a while since he did that. I missed it, to be honest; it proves that Raichu's attack didn't break Kurai's proud spirit. "What do you think you're doing? He was once with Raichu..what this is all a trick?" I felt like I was growing smaller and smaller every time he spoke. He had a point. I always felt a sudden chill every time I was near Absol, but then again, he saved my life...
"He saved our lives," I said. "Maybe he just wants to help us save our Mother, too." Kurai rolled his eyes. "And maybe you're going insane. I'm going alone." My heart lurched. "B-But we've done everything together! Kurai, you can't go alone! You don't know how dangerous it is out there!" Kurai's eyes narrowed and he snarled. I flinched; I've never seen him so angry. "You can trust strangers easily, but I don't," He clawed at the ground with fury, as if he wanted to rake his paws at my dark pelt. "If you'd rather go with a Pokemon you can't trust other than your Brother, then fine," I felt a wave of deep rage. "I trust you more than Absol, but I'm not choosing him over you!" Kurai glared at me. "It sure does look like it that way," Suddenly, his pose was braced into a fighting pose. To my surprise, he charged at me and tackled me out of nowhere. "I've helped you learn your true powers, I've helped you grown stronger, and what do you do? You don't listen to what I say! You chose Absol over me, after everything I've done for you!" He lowered his head closer to my face; I can feel his warm breath breathing at my fur. "If you need help this time, Kitsune, I will not be there to support you. I'm going to find Mother alone." He got off of me and ran away. I felt a stab of pain. I didn't mean for him to feel this way, but what if Absol was right? Kurai was always close to me..we never quarrel. It's too late to go back now, though. The only choice I have left is to go with Absol. I started to pad away to Absol. His eyes widened with shock. "Did you get into a fight? With who?"
"K-Kurai," My voice shook, and I felt like I just ate a rotten berry. "He refuses to come with us because  he doesn't trust you," I looked up at him. "But I do, because you saved my life, including Kurai's." Absol smiled. "I'm glad you are coming with me. Kurai is a fool for not listening to  you. Let's go." No, Kitsune, you're the fool for believing me over Kurai. You will have no help when Weavile comes to capture you. Kurai was right about me all along, but I will not let you believe that. Not now.
