Yes! Today is my birthday! I unwrapped a purple and light-green present that was sitting in front of me on the wood floor. You can hear the rustling noise from the wrapping inside the box that protected..another box? It was a case, with a pure white Chihuahua sitting down with its front legs spread apart, ears pricked. I opened the case; you can hear a little click as it opens. There was a small, very thin square-shaped chip inside with a blue sticker covering it, saying, "Chihuahua & Friends". I picked up my pink DS Lite that I've had for a few months now and put the chip on the back of the game. Turning on my DS, I clicked on "Nintendogs" so I can play the game.

The game started with me apparently "walking" at a wooden light-brown door. There were red words moving up and down saying, "Click here to knock." Tap! Tap! I tapped my stylus on the screen twice. Then, the door opened, seeing a new green view, and you can hear the echos of dogs barking and yapping...

As I entered the new scene, I heard water flowing, and there were instructions on how you can view any type of dog in the game. Immediately, I went to the Chihuahua section. There were three types of designs: Black ones with white bellies, dark brown marks under their eyes, all long-haired, pure white ones, long or short-haired, and finally, light-brown ones with a white muzzle and half of a lightning-looking white strike on the middle of their faces, along with a white belly and tiny black eyes. I wanted all of them. They were just so cute! But first, I had to think of a name that truly fits a type of one of these dogs.

Daisy.

I studied the dogs. There were two black ones and one brown one. I instantly thought that the brown one would be perfect for the name Daisy! I clicked on it. A message appeared on the top screen of my DS as the dog was circling around as it noticed me clicking on it. "This female is loved and adored by everyone." Perfect. I love dogs and this one would be just perfect for me! I chose the brown one and took it "home" with me in the game.

"Your new dog is now home! It'll take some time for it to get used to the area. Why not give it attention so it can get to know you better?" The message appeared at the top of my screen again, as I entered the home Daisy was circling around shyly, with her tail tucked in, eyes curved, like a nail, looking sad and frowning. I felt bad for Daisy.

At the bottom screen, it had a picture of her at the left top corner. I clicked on the question mark that was right above her right ear. It said, "Hungry. Thirsty." Apparently, Daisy was hungry and thirsty. I guess they don't feed your dogs for you as you take them home.

I clicked on a brown bag that was next to Daisy's status icon and checked the "care" section. There were only one bottle of water and one bag of regular dog food. I clicked on the water and suddenly a silver bowl filled with water appeared on the floor in my screen. Daisy quickly pounced to the water and lapped thirstily.
As Daisy was done drinking, I clicked on the 'dog food' icon that had a red bag with a big brown dog on it. Just like with the water, a silver bowl of brown pellets appeared in the middle of the clearing, and Daisy quickly pounced towards it, munching on the pellets as if she was starving.

Daisy took a pace back as she finished and opened her pink mouth and yawned. I smiled. She was so cute when she did that! Suddenly, a message appeared: "Your dog is now used to her new home. It's time to give her a name." I already figured that out.

I clicked on the red arrow icon that was on the left top corner of my DS and it took me back to the bottom screen with Daisy's status icon on it. There was a circle in the middle of the bottom screen that had a silhouette of a hand near a dog's happy mouth. Clicking on it, I heard a loud whistling noise, as if you're calling your dog. Suddenly, Daisy turned her head at me, her black eyes staring at me, and she pounced towards me, barking.

"Give your dog a name. You've given it a name, haven't you? All you have to do is pronounce its name into the microphone like this- Lucky! Maxwell! Daisy!' Give it a try."

A little microphone-looking silhouette blinked purple and gray as Daisy was circling around, trying to chase her tail. I clicked on the microphone. "Daisy!" I said. Daisy looked at me, her dark eyes wide, and she lifted her head, then barked. A light bulb appeared, then another message came- "Your dog heard you! Make sure to do this two more times so it can memorize its name!" I said it two more times. Finally, Daisy memorized her name and I saved the game after.

Things were going to turn great with us. I love Daisy already, even though she is just a fake dog. But I had no pets- so she is the only pet I could actually have! That's why I love her so much. I gave her enough attention and food every single day as time passed, and we grew closer and closer with each other.

As time passed, she became smarter every day, was allowed to walk longer walks, and even made a ton of money in the game from competitions. It took about five months until Daisy became championship for everything. She was championship for the Agility Competition, Disc Competition, and Obedience Competition. She won the Disc Competition 9 times in two months! She earned so much money for me, and I was so happy for her! I loved how she crouched down, with her tail wagging, mouth open wide like a smile, as there was a golden reward next to her, while the screen said, "FIRST PLACE! I was always very happy when I saw her yelping with joy and circling around when she was proud of herself. As a reward for her, I gave her very long walks and many  treats, and gave her much attention.

Sadly, more time passed, and I started to lose interest of the game. I only played it once every two weeks when I'm extremely bored. Every time I visited her, I saw dark gray patches on her beautiful light brown fur, as though she was dirty, and she was so. I checked on her status question mark and it said, "Famished. "Parched." I would give her food, but then I'd close the game and ignore it for the rest of the day.

My new interest is now the Internet. I was always on Facebook, Deviantart, and YouTube. I hardly ever played Nintendogs now that I have great friends online. Time and even years passed as I grew more interested of the game, but I forgot about Daisy, leaving her to starvation.....

Three years passed since I left Daisy. I never even thought about her during those years, and left the game on my ground just to collect dust.

One day, I leaped up from my bed and put my feet on the ground, only hearing a small crack! What was that noise? I shrugged and lifted my foot, only seeing my only game, "Chihuahua & Friends" on the floor, with tiny dust balls on it. I stared at it in surprise. I can't believe I forgot the only pet I ever had!

I picked up the game. It was bent, with a dent in the middle of it. I cried. My only pet I ever took care of, the only animal that ever cheered me up when I was happy, the only dog I ever loved, is now gone. But I had a surge of hope. Perhaps it would still work! I quickly grabbed my pink-and-gray DS Lite and pushed the small black chip in on the back.

The DS Lite screen turned on. I saw the name, "Nintendogs" on it. Feeling a surge of happiness, I pressed my stylus lightly on the "Nintendogs- Chihuahua & Friends" game. Daisy's still there, I'm sure of it, she's just hungry and filthy. But I couldn't help ignoring the stab of guilt that won't leave inside of me.

The game showed my regular house I owned. Using the arrow keys on the DS system, I clicked on them and the game let me see the entire room. I searched and searched...oddly enough, Daisy wasn't there.....

A tan box appeared on my screen with text messages. It said, "Look behind you." I gulped, and slowly turned my head to my side, but as I quickly looked back at my DS..the screen turned black. I started to freak out. I didn't turn it off! I moved my thumb on the Power button to turn it on, but it didn't work. It always does! Suddenly, I heard faint angry growling in my room and felt wet mist surrounding me...

I dared to turn around. A silhouette of a tiny dog padded to me. I froze. As the white mist cleared to the sides of my room, I saw a brown and white dog, with dark gray patches, ribs showing, ears flattened, lips curled into a snarl, and her eyes narrowed into slits. It was Daisy. She looked very angry.

As she was walking to me, black texts appeared above her, saying, "Why did you leave me to die? I helped you gain money, helped cheered you up while you were sad, and this is what you do to me?!" I heard a deep growl of anger coming through her throat as the message appeared.

"I'm sorry!" I wailed. "I didn't mean to! I really did love you, Daisy, I just never had the time anymore and I was never interested in the game anymore. You have to accept that I moved on!" I said desperately.

Daisy ignored me. She stopped padding, and sat down, though, her ears were still flattened and she was still angry at me. Another text message appeared above her head as she was sitting down, saying, "You should never have abandoned me. You had no idea what I had to go through, for three years!"

I felt heavy guilt pressing down on me. I left my most loving family member of my life alone, in the house, with no one to play with. "Please," I begged, "Forgive me. I have moved on, but I'll make it up to you."

Daisy tilted her head. Another text message appeared above her head once again, saying: "How so?"

"I'll give the game to a little girl that will enjoy it forever."

Daisy narrowed her eyes for a moment, and then nodded. A text message appeared, saying, "I'll give you a chance." Suddenly, she disappeared, in a quick flash.

I hurried and grabbed the game outside. There was a friend of mine that always wanted Nintendogs, and she couldn't afford the game, however, her Aunt bought her a DS Lite to play with that had no games. I quickly ran across the street and ran to the first house on the sidewalk. She was literally across the street to me. I knocked on the door.

A girl about five feet tall with beautiful black hair and white skin opened the door, tilting her head. "Hello, why are you here?"

I was panting, then took a deep breath as I spoke. "I've come to give you this game." I handed out the little black chip with a sticker on it that said, "Chihuahua & Friends".

The girl's eyes flashed with appreciation. "Thank you! I have always wanted to play this game in years! Now I've finally got one! I'll give you something in return, okay?" She said happily.

I shook  my head. Seeing her happy was good enough for me. "You're fine. Just enjoy the game." I was about to close the door as I suddenly thought, "Hey, can you play the game for a few minutes with me? I'd like to see how much you'll love it. I have a Chihuahua named Daisy on  it, and she's been champion for all of the contests. She's a very loving dog, and I would like to see how you two would get along."

My friend looked puzzled, but agreed awkwardly. As she quickly ran into the house to get her white DS Lite, she came back and pushed the chip in the back of it. It turned on, saying, "Nintendogs- Chihuahua & Friends".

She tapped her white stylus lightly on the bottom screen so she can play it. I was relieved as I saw Daisy in the game again, padding around with her tail tucked in between her legs, however, she looked...sad. She even whined and her ears were flattened with sadness. I felt a prickle of guilt. Was this how Daisy really felt after all of those years of no love?

"Poor thing, she must be hungry." My friend said. She quickly drew her stylus and gave Daisy food and water, like what I did when I first had the game. She looked at me. "I really love this game! Thank you for giving it to me!"

I nodded. As Daisy finished eating, she cocked her head at me and blinked, then smiled at me. That must mean she forgives me after leaving her. I said good-bye to my friend and closed her door as I walked across the street again to my house.

A light breeze blew through everything, and I thought I could hear whispers.

Thank you....

It sounded really faint. Maybe I imagined it. But I was finally home and opened my door, then closed it. I never noticed the silhouette of a small Chihuahua following me the whole time, sitting down at me and eyes blinking with appreciation.
A Nintendogs fanfiction.

This took about an hour to write...but I got lazy near the end...^^

This is also my first Creepypasta...I tried. Hope you enjoy!

Well, I was going to upload a preview picture of Daisy, but I guess that's not going to happen now. I'll upload it later. Anyway, peace.

EDIT: Wow..is it sad that I memorized a lot of steps of the game? xD It was my very first DS Lite game.

EDIT EDIT: Yes, the picture above is the real Daisy I have in real life.

Edit: 10/28/2012: Should I make a video about this creepypasta video on YouTube, with short animations, and screenshots from the game? Would you guys watch it if I made it?

Edit: 4/9/2013: Wow, almost 1,000 views. I didn't even think it was that good. Thanks!
